Calculation of the doors of the wardrobe. Sliding systems
Closet-coupe furniture today is in demand andpopular. Having some knowledge and elementary skills of work, such construction can be made independently. It differs from the usual wardrobe with the presence of a sliding door system. To implement creative ideas and dreams, you need to correctly calculate the doors of the closet.
Features of the compartment
To install it does not need a lot of space. The main advantage is that the walls of the structure can be used ceiling, floor and walls. This is a built-in wardrobe. It can not be moved. The stand-alone design differs from the old models with the sliding door system. Internal filling, the location of partitions, shelves, boxes depends on the size of the model and the installation site. The principle of manufacturing a wardrobe implies the possibility of changing it - the transformation of interior decoration, replacement and combination of door leaves. The basis of such furniture is a stable and qualitative sliding system. Calculation of the doors of the closet is made on the basis of measurements of the width and height of the room. Measurements should be as accurate as possible. It is necessary to take into account the unevenness of the walls, the presence of skirting boards and baguettes.
Selecting a sliding system
There are many mechanisms for sliding-door wardrobes anddressing rooms. The principle of operation of all systems is the same. The door leaves slide along the rails to the side, revealing one or another part of the interior space. The system is constructed of metal or aluminum. The latter are cheaper, but wear out more quickly in the process of daily operation. The systems differ in the material of manufacture, the profile (open or closed) of the guides. They can be single or double. Sliding systems can be upper and lower and differ in configuration. Depending on the expected size, furniture can have more than two doors. The number corresponds to the number of rails in the guides. Calculation of the doors of the cabinet-compartment also depends on the number of overlapping door leaves.
How to calculate the size of doors
Although the wardrobe can have individualdimensions, they must strive for some standards. For security reasons, the height of the door should be no more than 2600 mm, and the width of one leaf - 450 mm. The recommended depth is from 400 mm to 600 mm. The formula for calculating the doors of the wardrobe is quite simple:
- The height of the door (In two) is equal to the height of the opening (Впр) - 40 mm.
- The width of the door (Ш dv) can be calculated by the formula: Ш дв = (Ш пр + 20мм) / 2, where Ш пр - this is the width of the opening, 20 mm - an increase for the overlap of the doors, 2 - the number of door leaves. To calculate the three door panels, the increment is 40 mm.
- The length of the upper and lower guides: Д напр = Ш пр.
- Length of vertical profile: D vert = In two.
In order not to be mistaken, it is better to calculate the doors of the sliding-door wardrobe after assembling the frame and installing internal partitions and shelves.
The facade is the main and visible part of the closet. In addition to the classical filling options (chipboard (laminated chipboard) or mirror), there are many other interesting solutions. This is a painting on a glass or a mirror. Embossed glass, coated glass or stained glass. The facades are offered with artificial leather, decorative plastic, as well as natural bamboo or rattan. Variants of filling are combined. Inserts in the door can be framed by a profile of various geometric shapes. Depending on the filling material and the type of the sliding system, the calculation of the door dimensions of the sliding door wardrobe may differ slightly. When calculating combined doors, the filling height is reduced by 4.5 mm, if its thickness is 40 mm, respectively, by 1.5 mm with a filling depth of 10 mm. Glass and mirror filling from the back should be reinforced with an impact resistant coating.
