Casting Announced for ‘Matilda the Musical’ in Seattle
Casting has been announced for the First National Tour ofMatilda the Musical. Produced by the Royal Shakespeare Company and The Dodgers, the First National Tour of Matilda the Musicalwill come to Seattle to wrap up the summer and kick off the school year.
The three girls sharing the title role are Gabby Gutierrez, Mia Sinclair Jenness and Mabel Tyler. The principal cast also features (alphabetically): Jennifer Blood (Miss Honey), Quinn Mattfeld (Mr. Wormwood), Bryce Ryness (Miss Trunchbull), and Cassie Silva (Mrs. Wormwood).

Based on the beloved novel by Roald Dahl, Matilda the Musicalis directed by Tony Award winner Matthew Warchus (God of Carnage), who helms this production with a book by Tony Award-winning playwright Dennis Kelly and music and lyrics by Australian comedian, musician and composer Tim Minchin.
The production has sets and costumes by Tony Award winner Rob Howell, with choreography by Tony Award winner Peter Darling, orchestrations, additional music and musical supervision by Christopher Nightingale, lighting by Tony Award winner Hugh Vanstone, and sound by Simon Baker.
