Installation and installation of air conditioning
Many modern city dwellers decide to install an air conditioner in their apartment, and it is extremely important that it is installed in strict accordance with the instructions of the manufacturer of climate technology. In order to install the air conditioner in a wall or window opening, it is necessary to make a rectangular base for it, which should be 5–10 mm larger than the size of the air conditioner housing.
It is also allowed to install the air conditioner high on the wall, but in no case close to the ceiling, since the distance between the device and the nearest horizontal surface should be at least 17-20 cm.
Otherwise, there is a significant increase in the likelihood of drawing cooled air back into the climate device and reducing its efficiency and productivity. In addition, when installing the air conditioner, it is also necessary to observe certain distances to the obstacles surrounding the device from the street for the air entering it through the outdoor condenser (heat exchanger).Such obstacles can be the walls of neighboring houses, fences, or any other barriers, and the distance between the outside part of the air conditioner and such barriers should be at least 50 cm.
In addition, when choosing a place where an air conditioner opening will be placed, it should also be remembered that it will be necessary to keep the external openings, called louvers, on the sides and above the appliance body. They must be in contact with the external environment, and which should not be closed from the inside of the room in order not to deprive the climatic device of the access of fresh air.
Simply put, part of the device must necessarily be located on the street, surrounded by air. The best way to install an air conditioner is one in which for the flow of air coming out of the air conditioner condenser, the obstacles are located no closer than 15 cm from the top and no closer than 40 cm from the side louvers (openings).
In most cases, to install the air conditioner, a rectangular frame specially assembled from corner profiles is used, with an angle of 30-40 mm in width. This frame with a slope is fixed in the opening prepared for the air conditioner in the position in which it is planned to install the air conditioner. In order to improve condensate drainage from the climatic device, it is fixed in such a way that the lower edge of the inner part of the device is located higher than the lower edge of its outer part by 0.5-1 cm.
Some types of air conditioners have a removable lightweight body, and in this case it is not necessary to make a special frame for its installation. Assembling an air conditioner with such a body, in the opening prepared for the device, first place its light frame, and then all other parts.
Low-power air conditioners can be plugged into a regular household outlet, and for more powerful appliances, individual wiring and automatic devices are required. Installation of air conditioning is best to trust qualified professionals and electricians.
Modern climate devices can be equipped with both electromechanical and electronic control. The choice of control type depends on the location of the device. Devices placed high in the room are more convenient to control using the remote (electronic control), and in the event that the device is located low - the type of control does not matter. The air conditioner is able to cool the air in a room of up to 60 square meters, and operates in a temperature range of 18-43 degrees.
At the same time during operation of the air conditioner humidity in the room decreases. Some models of air conditioners can not only cool, but also heat the air in the room, but only until the temperature outside the room has dropped below three degrees of frost, since at this temperature a working device can become unusable.
