Moscow authorities have suspended the laying of a tram line from Lianozovo to the subwaySeptember 21, 2016
The authorities of the capital have temporarily stopped the construction of a tram line from Lianozovo to the nearest metro station in the northeastern part of the city, said Marat Khusnullin, deputy mayor of Moscow for urban planning policy and construction, after meeting with community advisors.
He also noted that the idea of building a high-speed tram branch from the outskirts of the Severny settlement to the Medvedkovo metro station was developed first. But it would have consisted of two parts: from the village itself to Lianozovo, from Lianozovo to the metro station.
The deputy mayor said that the construction of the Lianozovo metro station did not interfere with anything; most people in the area support this. But for the construction of the subway it is necessary to cut down a large number of trees, to which the residents seriously opposed. As a result, construction was necessary to suspend.
The authorities now have to evaluate what the launch will take by bus to Dmitrovskoye Highway.
