In order to completely eliminate all possible heat losses and prevent the possibility of condensation, all layers of such a roofing pie must necessarily be placed in a strictly defined sequence, namely:
• Interlayer from special vapor barrier film.
• A layer of insulation.
• Waterproofing material.
• Special ventilation gap.
• Directly the metal tile itself.
Laying such insulation is recommended to perform around the perimeter of the roof, with the exception of the area under the ridge.In this case, a layer of waterproofing material is usually placed above the heater, directly under the metal cladding, and the vapor barrier layer - from the attic space.
The main nuances of working with insulation materials
Absolutely all types of thermal insulation materials must be sufficiently reliably protected from moisture, not only during installation, but also during storage. It is advisable to store insulation only in dry and very well ventilated places, because in the case of wetting of such materials, the operational characteristics start to deteriorate very seriously. Another important point when working with such a material is the presence of a fully serviceable tool, because if you use, for example, a blunt knife, even the most high-quality material will be able to inflict irreparable damage quite easily.
